About Mackenzie
Welcome! I’m Kenzie, a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor providing telehealth sessions to folx in Maryland. I work well with clients experiencing anxiety and life transitions and I work extra well with individuals navigating religious trauma, neurodivergence, and queer identities. As an openly queer clinician, I am deeply connected to and passionate about serving the LGBTQ+ community (poly & kink-affirming). My approach is eclectic and person-centered, with a strong foundation in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). My goal is to help you take meaningful steps toward living a life that aligns with your values.
Originally from Portland, Oregon, I ventured to the East Coast to play Division I volleyball at Loyola University Maryland. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with minors in Gender and Sexuality Studies and Latin American Studies. I then continued at Loyola to complete my Master of Science in Clinical Professional Counseling while also teaching an undergraduate course on stress management. If you are looking for a clinical, blank-slate therapist, I am not the one for you. Let's show up authentically as we collaborate and build a strong therapeutic relationship together.
